LG can now proudly boast they're officially the first handset maker to release a dual-core smartphone. Guinness World Records affirms this, giving the Korean phone manufacturer the proper recognition they so richly deserve. Of course, realistically, this is nothing more than just bragging rights and is actually very trivial, but hey, at least LG now has a place in the record books. And in 5 years time, when someone pops the question who first outed a dual-core smartphone, LG and the Optimus 2X will once again be the hot topic of discussions.
