Still remember the Nokia C5-03 that Espoo announced back in October?
Well, according to GSMArena, it’s now available though we’re not quite sure where as we’ve yet to actually see one on sale. Anyway, moving on, they go on to reveal that its actually retailing a lot more than expected, $65 more expensive to be exact. Nokia originally announced its price to be $225 before tax and subsidies, but current online offers have it priced at around $290.
So what gives? This is probably just an attempt of some select online stores to cash in on early adopter’s eager to get this new Nokia handset. It’ll most likely drop to its regular price once official retail channels starting offering up the Nokia C5-03, whenever that will be. Rest assured though, we’ll keep you guys posted once this hits local retail stores.
Just to refresh your memory, the Nokia C5-03 features a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, 3G connectivity, microSD card slot, and runs on the S60 5th Edition platform complete with Nokia Messaging, Ovi Maps with free navigation, and social networking integration.
