Here’s a first look at what Acer has in store for us next year. No name yet, but this press photo and its delectable set of features are more than enough to get us excited for it.
This unnamed Android phone packs a massive 4.8-inch 1024x480 resolution 21:9 aspect ratio LED back-lit touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI out, HSDPA connecitivity, DLNA support, a six-axis motion sensing gyroscope and accelerometer (sounds familiar? Yup, the iPhone 4 has this too), and is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The Android version it’s running on (our money is on Gingerbread) is yet to be known as well as its possible retail price.
What we do know, however, is it’ll be ready to party in April of 2011. That’s still a mighty long wait, but on the good side, that’ll give you guys more than enough time to save up for this one as we’re pretty sure this baby will cost more than your average mobile phone.
