LG's found another hit phone in their lower segment device range as the Korean phone maker is proud to announce they’ve already exceeded the 1 million mark with the LG Optimus One.
That’s right. They’ve reportedly sold 1 million LG Optimus One units in a span of just 40 days. Given that the Optimus One has yet to become available in Canada and other regions, LG’s budget-friendly Android phone is well on its way to become one of their best selling devices for 2010 especially at the rate it's moving off shelves.
The LG Optimus One is confirmed to be coming to Canada, and is expected to debut on Telus this month. It packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and runs on Android 2.2 powered by a 600MHz processor.
It’s no Galaxy S smartphone, but it's definitely a viable option for those looking for an affordable Android phone to pick up for the holidays. You can read the full press release here.
