Bad news guys. Just when we thought it was nearing its eventual release, the white iPhone 4 has now further been delayed to next year. Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller has confirmed that the white version of the latest iPhone won’t be debuting this year, and is now scheduled for release sometime in Spring.
Here’s her brief statement relaying the bad news:
We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we’ve decided to delay its release until this spring.
Apple continues to stay mum as to the real reason why the white iPhone 4 isn't available yet to the public, but they have stated in the past that it was a lot “more challenging to manufacture” than they originally expected.
Let's just hope they stay true to this time line this time, and won't get postponed yet again. If that happens, the iPhone 5 might stand a better chance of hitting the market first than this white variant of the iPhone 4.
