Previously referred to as the Dell Lightning, the Dell Venue Pro was officially announced earlier this week. This is Dell’s first Windows Phone 7 offering and, incidentally, is also their first handset that isn’t running on Android.

Dell Venue Pro

The Dell Venue Pro boasts of a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen complete with Gorilla Glass for added protection, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 8GB of internal memory, a slide out full QWERTY keypad, and is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. What else? Well, that’s the sad part. Although it has officially been announced already, there’s still a lot we don’t know about its feature set. Be that as it may, we like what we're hearing so far.

It's confirmed to be headed to T-Mobile in the US and will be an exclusive device on the said carrier with a release scheduled for “this holiday season.” Pricing, on the other hand, is still yet to be known. For more details, you can check it out here.
