T-Mobile has just officially announced the G2, their first HSPA+ handset.

T-Mobile G2

It boasts of a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording, Bluetooth, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot for additional storage (supports up to 32GB), 3.5mm jack, and runs on an 800MHz processor with Android 2.2 as its OS, consistent with what we’ve previously heard in the past. It will also come preloaded with Swype and Adobe Flash player.

Its price is still a mystery though, but they did go on to say that it will be available for preorder “in limited quantities later this month.” You can read the full press release here.
