If you’re waiting for the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Pro, here’s some good news for you. Rogers has confirmed via Twitter that this QWERTY-equipped pint-sized version of the X10 will be available later this year. They didn’t say when specifically, but with a few months left in 2010, the wait shouldn’t be that painful anymore.

As a quick refresher, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Pro sports a 2.5-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 5-megapixel AF camera with flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, 600MHz processor, 3.5mm jack, GPS, and HSPA connectivity. It was announced back in February with Android 1.6 as its OS. However, if what we're hearing proves to be true, it could ship with Android 2.1 preinstalled already.

As far as pricing goes, rumor has it that it’ll retail for just $29.99 on a 3-yr contract. If true, that's a very enticing price for a QWERTY Android phone. We'll have more on this once additional info becomes available.
