Here’s some good news and bad news regarding the upcoming T-Mobile G2. We’ve now got some confirmed specs of this new Android phone courtesy of what they've just posted over at T-Mobile Scoop.

The good news is that it’ll come preloaded with Android 2.2 right out-of-the-box complete with Adobe Flash Player 10.1.The not-so-delightful news is that it only comes equipped with an 800Mhz Scorpion processor unlike most of its contemporaries which has a 1Ghz Snapdragon chip running under the hood. Of course, as we all know, speed doesn’t solely rely on the hardware and software has a lot to do with it as well, but it certainly would have been more reassuring if it had a 1GHz processor running at the very heart of it.

Still no word on its price, but given its relatively under-powered processor, we’re expecting this to be a bit more on the affordable side especially when compared to other Android 2.2 phones such as the Motorola Milestone 2 and company.
