Excited for the two new Motorola Android phones, the Droid 2 and Droid Xtreme, headed for Verizon? Yes? If so, you can now list down July as the month when the Droid Xtreme will be released followed by the Droid 2 in August based on the latest tip received by BGR. The delayed release of the Droid 2 might be a bit of disappointment, but the good news is that we're now hearing that it will come bundled with Android 2.2 Froyo when it hits the US market sometime in August.
To further whet your appetite for the upcoming Droid Xtreme, we have new pictures of this particular Verizon-bound Motorola Android phone courtesy of Gadget University showing off its new UI overlay currently being called ninja blur, and some side-by-side pics with the HTC Evo 4G, iPhone 3G, and Droid Eris from Android Forums.
We’re still clueless as to its retail price, but we’ve got a feeling that we’ll hear an official announcement from either Motorola or Verizon much pretty soon complete with pricing info.
