Here’s a better picture of the Verizon-bound Motorola Droid Xtreme (previously referred to as the Motorola Shadow).

Motorola Droid Xtreme

Shared with the rest of the world courtesy of DroidLife and one of their sources, we can see here that this upcoming Motorola Android phone is indeed equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording complemented by dual LED flash. We also catch a glimpse of its new and more subtle customized UI overlay which many are now calling ninja blur. As far as its OS is concerned, it’s definitely running on Android 2.1 though it’s not clear yet whether or not this baby will be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo once it’s ready for retail or an appropriate update will be made available down the road.

We still don’t know when the Motorola Droid Xtreme will be released, but rest assured, we’ll report it you guys as soon as we get a hold of the necessary info.
