Apart from the Acer Liquid e, Rogers has also released the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 in Canada.
Unfortunately, it did not live up to the rumor and our expectation of it retailing for just $29.99 similar to what Telus is currently offering. The Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 9100 is priced at $49.99 on a 3-year contract basis with a monthly service fee of $45, and goes to a high of $374.99 on a single year contract or monthly basis. Opting to ditch any contract obligation with Roges will cost $424.99.
The BlackBerry Pearl 9100 boasts of a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera (with flash), tri-band UMTS/HSPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi (b/g/n), an optical trackpad, runs on BlackBerry OS 5, and is powered by a faster 624MHz processor.
