The Motorola Flipout has just officially been announced and will be available in Europe this quarter in seven colored variations (white, fairway green, poppy red, raspberry crush, brilliant blue, licorice and saffron). No details yet are available as far as the US and Canada are concerned, but we’re pretty optimistic that its release in the region won’t be that far behind.
Consistent with what we’ve reported in the past, this new Motorola Android handset comes with 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, WiFi, HSPA connectivity (7.2Mbps HSDPA/2Mbps HSUPA), and Android 2.1 complete with an enhanced version of MotoBLUR. We also now know that it will also feature an eCompass, A-GPS, a WebKit browser with Flash support, Kodak Perfect Touch technology, and will come bundled with a 2GB microSD card as part of the standard package.
