HTC has just announced their newest Android offering, the HTC Wildfire. Feature-wise, it's almost identical with the HTC Desire albeit coming with a slower processor and is smaller in size.

The HTC Wildfire is equipped with a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, WiFi, GPS, HSDPA connectivity, a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, 3.5mm jack, and microSD card for additional storage. It runs on Android 2.1 and also come loaded with a Friend Stream app for social networking functionality and a new app sharing widget that allows user to recommend Android apps to friends.

The HTC Wildfire will be released in Europe and Asia in Q3 in four different colored variants. Its price, however, is still yet to be known.
