Beefing up their already extensive Android line-up, T-Mobile has officially announced the myTouch 3G Slide. Just like its namesake, the myTouch 3G, this new Android handset is also made by HTC.

T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide

It boasts of a 3.4-inch HVGA touchscreen display, 5-megaqpiel AF camera, a slide-out 4-row QWERTY keypad, a five-pane customizable home screen with the option to increase it up to seven, WiFi, 3G connectivity, and a Genius Button for voice command functionality. It runs on the latest Android 2.1 OS and comes pre-installed with an 8GB microSD card. It’s also the first device to feature myModes (customizable themes for home or work that support home screen apps, widgets and wallpapers) and Faves Gallery (a contacts aggregate of your 20 favorite people that lists the various ways by which you communicate with them).

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide will be released sometime in June with the option to get it either in black, white or red. Its price, however, is yet to be announced. You can read the full press release here.
