Its quirky form factor might turn off some, but its features are good enough a reason to consider this one as a serious option for Android phone hopefuls. The Backflip sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen, 5-MP camera with flash, 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a Backtrack touchpad at the back to help users navigate the system without having to touch the front of the display. It runs on Android 1.5 and also comes loaded with MotoBLUR which social networking aficionados will surely love.

The Telus Motorola Backflip is retailing for just $99.99 on a 3-year contract and ships with a 2GB microSD card as part of the package. Opting to get it on a 2-year or 3-year deal will cost $299.99 or $349.99 respectively, while foregoing the whole contract obligation will cost $399.99 to get the Backflip. You can check it out here.
