The Acer Liquid e (a slightly upgraded version of the Acer Liquid) has just been announced on Rogers making this touchscreen device the latest addition to their slowly growing Android family of phones.
Apart from being the first Acer smartphone to become available locally in Canada, the Acer Liquid e will also be the first Android 2.1-powered device in the country. It also boast of a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 5-megapixel AF camera WiFi, GPS, 7.2Mbps HSPDA connectivity, 3.5mm jack, and runs on a 768MHz Snapdragon processor. The underclocked processor is a bit of a downer, but the rest of its specs are still nonetheless impressive.
Its price wasn’t disclosed, but is confirmed for a spring debut and will be an exclusive item on Roger. You can read the full press release here.
