The Samsung Flight is a slider phone that packs 2.8-inch 240x320 resolution touchscreen complemented by a full QWERTY keypad. It also features a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, media player, and supports microSD cards with capacities of up to 16GB. The Samsung Flight is retailing for $69.99 on a 3-year contract, $119.99 on a 2-year contract, $219.99 for a single year, and $274.99 outright purchase. There’s no WiFi or HSPA connectivity on this baby, but this should be nice option for those looking for an affordable touchscreen-equipped messaging phone.
Rogers LG Pop

The LG Pop GD510, meanwhile, sports 3-inch 240x400 touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and microSD card slot (up to 16GB). This actually debuted last September 2009, and now, it’s finally here in Canada. The LG Pop can be had for as little as $19.99 on a 3-yr contract, and is priced at $69.99 on a 2-year contract, $124.99 for a single year, and $174.99 outright purchase.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - Samsung Mobile, one of the leading mobile phone brands in Canada, today announced the availability of the Samsung Flight available exclusively through Rogers.

Flight is the social butterfly of the wireless world, offering users enhanced multimedia functionality through a 2.8" touch screen that slides back to uncover a full QWERTY keyboard. Users can also share videos and 2.0 MP resolution photos with their friends and family through SMS and MMS, Instant Messaging and mobile e-mail.

Flight also provides users longevity with up to five hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time and is equipped with stereo Bluetooth technology and 82 MB of shared memory and Java support.
