Here’s some good news for you iPhone jailbreaking aficionados out there. The iPhone Dev Team has just announced the release of PwnageTool 3.1.5 for the Mac OS X in response to the Apple's roll out of iPhone OS 3.1.3.
They do, however, recommend that you stay clear of this latest iPhone firmware unless you really feel that it’s necessary to update to this new software release. iPhone 3G S users who have already updated to OS 3.1.3 need to downgrade to OS 3.1.2 for this new PwnageTool to work successfully. You can find instructions on how to go about this here. If you can’t downgrade for whatever reason, this current iPhone 3.1.3 jailbreak won’t do you any good.
The iPhone Dev Team has a bunch of other reminders which you can find here that they strongly urge you to read first before deciding to update your iPhone's firmware as well as info on where you can download iPhone PwnageTool 3.1.5. After you've read all their warnings and still manage to muster up enough courage to try this out, don't forget to hit us up in the comments section below as we'd certainly love to hear how it goes for you.
