The Motorola Milestone (aka Motorola Droid in the US) is confirmed to be coming to Canada and will exclusively be available on Telus. The announcement reveals that it will be released in early 2010, but thanks to Android and Me, we now have a more specific date to look forward to as to when it will actually become available locally.

According to their tipster, Telus will launch the Motorola Milestone on January 26th, exactly two weeks from today. The Motorola Droid is doing pretty well in the US though a security flaw has recently been discovered in its latest firmware. If this Android-powered Motorola QWERTY-equipped touchscreen phone gets the same warm reception in Canada as it did over in the US at Verizon, it will definitely help Telus to sign-up more subscribers on their new HSPA network.

Do note, however, that this is still a rumor though, but as far as an exact release date for the Motorola Milestone is concerned, this is as good as it gets for the time being.
