We know that Videotron will be soft-launching their HSPA+ network this summer, but until then, here’s the latest handset you can pick up from Canadian carrier, the Sony Ericsson TM506.

Admittedly, it’s no powerhouse especially when compared with the touchscreen phones of today, but this should be a nice option for those looking for an affordable clamshell phone to get this new year. The Sony Ericsson TM506 comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, integrated GPS with Google Maps installed, 32MB internal memory, and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot for additional storage.

This clamshell is retailing for $19.95 on a 3-yr contract, $69.95 on a 2-yr contract and $371.95 on a single year contract with Videotron. Opting to just get the handset will cost $421.95. You can read more about it by checking it out here.
