There’s a new HTC touchscreen phone headed for Rogers, and it’s a Windows Mobile 6.5-powered second generation phone. Like me, most of you are probably guessing (or at least hoping) that it’s the HTC HD2, but unfortunately, it’s not. The particular HTC phone we're talking about here is the HTC Touch2, successor of the HTC Touch.
The HTC Touch2 comes with a 2.8-inch 240x320 65K color touchscreen, 3.15-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, 7.2Mbps HSPA connectivity, 3.5mm jack, TouchFLO UI, and like its Touch Diamond2 and Touch Pro2 siblings, also features a touch-sensitive zoom bar below the display. If this report by Electronista holds true, Rogers will be the first to offer up the HTC Touch2 in the North American region.
No word though on when and how much it’ll cost, but based on the pictures above, we at least know that the HTC Touch2 will be available in a variety of colors.
