Sony Ericsson has quietly launched the Aino in the US making it their first 8.1-megapixel equipped phone available in the region.
The Aino, if you can recall, was announced back in May alongside the Sony Ericsson Yari. This touchscreen slider features a 3-inch capacitive display, LED flash to compliment its 8.1-megapixel camera, image stabilizer, WiFi, Bluetooth, aGPS, DLNA support, tri-band HSPA connectivity, Remote Play support, FM radio, and is one of the first Sony Ericsson devices to come with a microSD card slot in lieu of the traditional Memory Stick port. The Sony Ericsson Aino will ship with a Bluetooth headset, desktop stand, and as promised, an 8GB microSD card as part of the package.
The Sony Ericsson Aino is retailing for $599.99 unlocked and is now readily available at the SonyStyle website.
