We know AT&T’s got the HTC Pure and Tilt 2, and Verizon has the HTC Imagio. Now, let’s take a look at what Sprint's got in their corner, the Samsung Intrepid.

Sprint Samsung Intrepid Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone

This is Sprint's official entry into the Windows Mobile 6.5 market in the US which will become an even more delectable bunch once the HTC HD2 arrives early next year. So, what does the Samsung Intrepid have to offer? This QWERTY-equipped Samsung smartphone comes with 2.5-inch 320x240 touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera with video capture, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, and features both CDMA and GSM connectivity making it an ideal phone for world travelers. It also provides easy access to social networking sites such as Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter. Set to replace the outdated Samsung Ace, as you can tell from the pic above, the Intrepid also does quite well in the aesthetics department.

The Samsung Intrepid will be ready for retail beginning this Sunday, October 11th for $149.99 after a $50 instant savings and $100 mail-in rebate is applied on a 2-year contract at Sprint stores. For more info, you can check out the full press release here.
