Quite a beast at a high price

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from V3

Forget about money for a second and the Microsoft Surface is an incredible product. It's a tablet, it's a laptop replacement and it could even be a desktop replacement too. Work, play, creative endeavours and basic gaming, this thin, light, excellent looking piece of tech can cover all the bases. That in itself is an incredible achievement, but before we give the Surface Pro 10/10 and call it a day, let's talk about price. This thing is prohibitively expensive. The price is absolutely a reflection of the quality of the product and indeed the accessories. Everything from the keyboard co... Full review

Microsoft's best hybrid device yet

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from Beta News
The new Surface Pro is Microsoft's most powerful hybrid device to date -- and doubtlessly also its best. The company has clearly learnt from past models of the device to craft something which is easy to use and beautiful to look at. The battery life improvement removes what for many people was the biggest downside to the previous generations, with the new Surface Pro comfortably lasting for a full work day... Full review

The new Surface Pro is Microsoft's most powerful hybrid device to date - and doubtlessly also its best. The company has clearly learnt from past models of the device to craft something which is easy to use and beautiful to look at. The battery life improvement removes what for many people was the biggest downside to the previous generations, with the new Surface Pro comfortably lasting for a full work day. However the device also remains a great product to use, with easy set up and usability, as well as looking fantastic and offering excellent portability. The only downside is a slight... Full review

Close, but not quite close enough

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from Notebookcheck
With the i7 2017 Surface Pro, Microsoft has created a convertible tablet that fulfills many, but not all promises. Workmanship, display and battery runtime are, without a doubt, state of the art. Its competitors, such as Acer's Switch 5, cannot keep up here... Full review

A Windows tablet that’s billed as a laptop

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from Tech Advisor
The new Surface Pro is a superb 2-in-1. It’s beautifully built and performs well. The screen is excellent and even the speakers sound good. However, it’s very expensive, especially when you add the cost of the Type Cover and – if you need one – the Surface Pen. Few will opt for the base model, and you’ll pay a heck of a lot more for a Core i7. Ultimately, while a fantastic device, it’s hard to recommend the Surface Pro unless money is no object... Excellent software compatibility

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from Recombu
The iterative nature of the 2017 Surface Pro doesn't detract from the fact that this is an excellent 2-in-1 and a worthy update on 2015's Surface Pro 4. The machine itself certainly feels like five-star material, with some of the most refined design work in its class, both aesthetically and from an engineering standpoint... Full review

Very nearly almost the future of Windows PCs

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from The Guardian
The new Surface Pro is the best example of what can be made out of a full-fledged Windows 10 tablet-laptop hybrid. It has all the power most will need, a great screen, good kickstand, decent speakers and an excellent set of accessories, including an attachable keyboard and trackpad that’s better than many dedicated laptop keyboards... Microsoft's best hybrid notebook plays it safe

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from Engadget
With all of its improvements, the Surface Pro sits atop the heap of hybrid laptops out there. But I can't help but feel like Microsoft missed an opportunity to show the competition how it's done. It's pricier than it needs to be, and it doesn't make any design leaps over previous generations... Full review

The new normal

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

from The Verge

All of this sameness makes it really hard to see the work that Microsoft says it put into the new Surface Pro. You'll only notice when you use it and it lasts a couple hours longer without the fans spinning up. That’s not to say the new Pro doesn’t work — it’s just as capable as the Pro 4 and is an excellent computer for travel. But even within the frames of this design, I’d have liked to see a little more forward progress, such as a larger screen with smaller bezels, some more modern ports, or a larger trackpad on the Type Cover. Even the most conservative lap... Full review

My Nokia 215 is only a couple weeks old & came with no instructions. Putting the SIM card in was a nightmare, unless it is positioned in exactly the right spot it fails to work. You are forced to make many attempts. I prefer the SIM holder on my old Nokia, you slot it in place in seconds without difficulties. The clock is not accurate & can't be altered, it's supposed to do this itself but doesn't. The clock is a major feature of any cell phone & much needed. The other features are good & easy to use Less

Love the build of this phone. A sure shot head-turner. The UI is pretty slick and does a better job than my doubly priced Android phone. The Live Tiles is a refreshing change and Here Maps is just amazing.

I got this phone after reading a lot of reviews and believing its much created hype. To be true, I found it to be very true and it was all worth the wait. This Windows-10 ready phone is something that is your perfect partner when you have a lot of work pressure and you need to provide instant results. Office 365 subscription simply shoots the value for money quotient of the phone up to the sky. The phone’s battery is long-lasting and can easily last for a day. Multi-tasking is certainly one of the best characteristics of the phone. Camera of the phone impresses when the lighting conditions are good. I had considered a lot of other options and am glad that I made this choice. Less
