Phone Scoop

For Windows fans who also happen to be on a budget

Microsoft Lumia 650

from Phone Scoop
Given Microsoft's recent moves to deemphasize its phone hardware, I'd only recommend the Lumia 650 to die-hard Windows fans who also happen to be on a budget. If you just need a smartphone with Cricket for less than $150, there are plenty of other, better options... Full review

Good looks at the right price, but Windows phone buyers beware

Microsoft Lumia 650

from Cnet
If you're set on a halfway decent phone with a truly budget price, the Lumia 650 does give you a solid Windows experience with better looks than most phones in the range. It just isn't clear how many updates and how much support Microsoft will be able to offer down the line... Full review

A decent mainstream smartphone with a great screen

Microsoft Lumia 650

from Notebookcheck
The Microsoft Lumia is a decent successor to the old Lumia 640. The mainstream smartphone now uses the design language from the bigger siblings Lumia 950/Lumia 950 XL and we get a good chassis with a great AMOLED screen. After the review, however, we do not really know why the device is supposed to be a perfect solution for business customers. We have to waive some features like Windows Hello or Continuum, so it basically comes down to Microsoft Office... Full review

A powerful tablet and a decent laptop

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

from What Mobile
A much improved screen with better touch and response are the biggest changes to the Surface Pro 4, with enough clout to sway it for many potential buyers. Factor in all the other little things that Microsoft has adjusted for the better and it becomes clear that this is much more than just a fresh pair of eyes. .. Full review

Only for the fans

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL

from Mobile Choice
If you are a devout Lumia fan then it cannot get better than this. Windows 10 is present and correct and it has the battery power, camera and the display that, in theory, can take on the best out there... Full review

Another enterprising offering from Microsoft

Microsoft Lumia 650

from TechRadar
With a great display, a nice design, good-enough battery life and a capable camera, the Lumia 650 makes a strong first impression. But a poor processor, lack of apps and buggy OS cause it to fall short of greatness... Full review

One for the family

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

from Mobile Choice
Fourth iteration of Microsoft's fantastic tablet range doesn't disappoint. The superb display, the comfort of the kickstand, great processor and premium build quality screams understated elegance and the bundled Pen is a great bonus. I also really like the kick-stand which for me negates the need for a type pad which is anyway overpriced at about £110... Full review

Almost there, but not quite

Microsoft Lumia 650

from ZDNet

Microsoft provides with the Lumia 650 for a device that perfectly meets the idea ‘we are almost there, but not quite’. The phone is beautiful in terms of design, lies well in the hand, Windows 10 Mobile is certainly a value, but the small defects are still too numerous: a bad browser, though, too few apps, but most of all a terrible processor. It delivers a device that you definitely should not avoid, but to our sense surely 50 euro is too expensive. For someone who is not much of a smartphone requires and just for reliability want to go, the 650 is perfect. The regular software... Full review

A simple, understated Lumia phone that's a bit taller than needed

Microsoft Lumia 650

from PhoneArena
The Microsoft Lumia 650 provides a mostly adequate experience, making it a solid choice for an entry-level Windows 10 handset. It's nicely put together and handles well. The screen and speaker are of good quality and make for enjoyable multimedia. The hardware is competent enough to ensure smooth basic functionality, though it isn't capable of more than that. For an entry-level phone, the Lumia 650 delivered better photo quality than we expected, but then there's the borderline unusable camcorder... Full review

Good display and performance

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

from Fone Arena
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a good upgrade to the Surface Pro 3, but it starts at Rs. 89,990 for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 144,990 for the high-end with Core i7 chip, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is priced on the higher side at least in India, and you have to invest separately for the Type Cover. It is definitely a great portable 2-in-1 compared to laptops and is powerful enough for several tasks. The Surface Pen is works well, especially with the new new display technology, but the battery life is not up to the mark... Full review

My Nokia 215 is only a couple weeks old & came with no instructions. Putting the SIM card in was a nightmare, unless it is positioned in exactly the right spot it fails to work. You are forced to make many attempts. I prefer the SIM holder on my old Nokia, you slot it in place in seconds without difficulties. The clock is not accurate & can't be altered, it's supposed to do this itself but doesn't. The clock is a major feature of any cell phone & much needed. The other features are good & easy to use

Premium product for an economical price

Microsoft Lumia 640

Love the build of this phone. A sure shot head-turner. The UI is pretty slick and does a better job than my doubly priced Android phone. The Live Tiles is a refreshing change and Here Maps is just amazing.

I got this phone after reading a lot of reviews and believing its much created hype. To be true, I found it to be very true and it was all worth the wait. This Windows-10 ready phone is something that is your perfect partner when you have a lot of work pressure and you need to provide instant results. Office 365 subscription simply shoots the value for money quotient of the phone up to the sky. The phone’s battery is long-lasting and can easily last for a day. Multi-tasking is certainly one of the best characteristics of the phone. Camera of the phone impresses when the lighting conditions are good. I had considered a lot of other options and am glad that I made this choice.
