Pocketnow

A pair of noise-canceling headphones with a good build and sound quality

from Pocketnow

While these headphones aren’t perfect, with up-to-date tech like Bluetooth 5.0, APTx-LL, USB Type-C, and excellent battery life, good sound quality, and above-average ANC, the Sennheiser HD 450BT are a good deal for $150.

If you're looking for good quality, customizable sound in a pair of good-looking, comfortable headphones, you can't go wrong with the Sennheiser HD 450BT. They are portable and compact, too. They make for an ideal pick for those who travel a lot and students: whether for the ANC to drown out ambient distractions, or for the long-wearing comfort of the ear cups through late hours of streaming (er, studying). Yes, you'll dish out over £150, or nearly US$200, but the 450BT still offer great value for money.

Great for work, and play

from The Indian Express

Priced Rs 14,990, the Sennheiser HD450BT is a good value for money headphones that offer top-end audio quality, noise cancellation and voice assistance. For those spending hours on conference calls, this seems like a great option for work from home and for the unwind later.

Smooth, durable performers

While not class-leading performers in the competitive mid-range market, these well-featured Sennheisers are still worthy of consideration.

Very good sound quality, effective noise reduction

from Gadget Guy

I was very impressed with the Sennheiser HD 450BT headphones. Everything worked as it should. The sound was, perhaps, engineered for enjoyment more than extreme accuracy, but you can tweak it with the app. The noise reduction was effective. Definitely recommended.

The HD 450BT from Sennheiser offer both listening pleasure with bass-driven music and a straightforward, quite natural sound, which also scores well in films and audio books thanks to its clear, fatigue-free voice reproduction. One criticism is the slight background noise and whirring on the left side when in ANC mode which can be detected when used via wireless. Otherwise, these portable over-ears convinced us with their remarkably stable Bluetooth connection, very good speech intelligibility during phone calls, and their excellent battery life.

Great sound, noise canceling, and convoluted controls

from Review Geek

On one hand, the sound quality is great; on the other, the controls are pretty bad. They’re comfortable, but the build quality is more plastic-y than I’d want. There’s a duality to these headphones that I can’t say I’ve really experienced before—for each good feature, there’s an equal and opposite bad feature.

An affordable pair of travel-friendly noise-cancelling headphones

from TrustedReviews

The HD 450BT aren't the flashiest pair of headphones, and if you went further up in price there are headphones with a better sense of fine detail, space and clarity. But if south of £200 is where your budget takes you, there’s not a whole lot to dislike about what the Sennheiser HD 450BT do here.

Noise cancelling cans at an affordable price

from Pocket-lint

If you have a limited budget and want an all-round great pair of over ear headphones with noise cancelling, the Sennheiser HD 450BT is a truly compelling option. There are elements of compromise, but it's a great product for its price point.
