If it is a premium auditory experience that you’re seeking, then look no further than these. The pros here are too many and Bose has done well with a design that’s not just modern but also very functional. When it comes to noise-cancellation and phone calls, the Bose NC 700 are unrivalled. They offer the best experience money can buy. However, it does have its downsides as well and this is mainly to do with the extremely buggy Bose Music app.

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 are a great new addition to an already popular Bluetooth line-up, with terrific noise-cancelling and fine sound quality to boot. The lack of built in EQ and only basic codec support are compromises that will only affect the few, so most people won’t be put off – but still this new design has a fight on its hands in an increasingly tough market.

The Bose 700 headphones deliver excellent noise cancellation in a comfortable, lightweight design that’s traveler friendly—but they carry a high price.

Tech Advisor

Good but not great

from Tech Advisor

The Bose Headphones 700 don't quite do enough to claim the noise cancelling crown. The sound quality is phenomenal - up their with Sony's best - but a price hike combined with an awkward app and some intermittent Bluetooth issues make these over-ear headphones merely good, rather than great.

Does a good job, on the whole

One thing to note about the Bose 700’s sound is that it is a little forward. That is, it can come across as too upfront to some listeners who prefer a more laid-back presentation. I’m not one, so I’m cool with the sound. How do the S$599 Bose 700 headphones compare with the Sony WH-1000XM3...More

One thing to note about the Bose 700’s sound is that it is a little forward. That is, it can come across as too upfront to some listeners who prefer a more laid-back presentation. I’m not one, so I’m cool with the sound. How do the S$599 Bose 700 headphones compare with the Sony WH-1000XM3, which cost S$50 less? Well, both are mass-appeal headphones with a lot to offer in terms of audio quality and noise cancelling. I like the Bose 700 a little more because of the sleeker look that seems more modern. Plus, the sound seems a little closer to neutral than Sony, so the Bose 700 has the edge for me.

Gear Hungry

It’s built for augmented reality for the modern ears

from Gear Hungry

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 doesn’t have a flashy look. However, when it comes to delivering an experience you will never forget, this is one of the best to have over your ears. It’s simple yet powerful.

A treat for the ears

from Gadgets Now

Bose has truly made a great pair of headphones with the NC 700. Be it design, audio quality or the excellent noise-cancelling tech, it's hard to find a fault with these pair of headphones.

Sound Guys

Second best, but back on top

from Sound Guys

While the Bose 700 headphones don't beat the Sony WH-1000XM3 at active noise cancelling, they still do a great job. This is exactly the upgrade that Bose needed to make and I think doing so has made the Bose 700 headphones the most desirable pair of ANC cans on the market.

A stylish-looking and comfortable pair of headphones with very good noise cancellation

from TrustedReviews

At £350, the Bose NC 700 headphones are more expensive than their immediate rivals and don't best them in terms of performance, either. However, audio quality is still very good, as is noise cancellation, plus they look great and feel comfortable on the head. They're good – sometimes, great – but not the best around.
