Fortress of Solitude

A good sign for the Huawei fitness family

from Fortress of Solitude

The Huawei Band 2 Pro is a steal at R999, offering a range of trackers, sensors and information you won't find in any other device at the same price bracket. It definitely has great value for money.

When we saw Huawei was releasing a tracker with GPS for £80 we were intrigued – but unsure if it would work as expected at that price. As it turns out, not only does it work, it throws in a heart rate tracker, training plans via the app and next-level sleep tracking – a feature set that would sit happily in the £100-£150 range. There are faults, but they’re easy to forgive at this price.

Coolsmartphone

Easy to pair and easy to use

from Coolsmartphone

Cozy and comfortable to wear. Lots of features, epic battery life and easy to use. I'd like to see a data export functionality but it's still a fantastic fitness band for the money.

Android Guys

More refined and more competitive

from Android Guys

You’re getting a lot for your money on the things that count in an activity tracker wristband. It’s durably put together, slim and comfortable, and its capture and conveyance of fitness data is spot on.

Stuff

Big on features, but low on charm

from Stuff

A certified bargain with surprisingly good GPS tracking, but it’s not as comfortable or as fun to use as its rivals.

A reliable, well-priced tracker with slightly clunky software

from TrustedReviews

If you’re looking for a super-affordable fitness tracker then the Band 2 Pro is a solid option. Featuring a robust design, good for the money distance tracking and excellent battery life, the Band 2 Pro will easily meet the needs of most new runners, swimmers and cyclists.

Talk Android

A fitness band worth keeping track of

from Talk Android

The Huawei Band 2 Pro is a solidly built fitness tracker that does indeed punch above its weight. It’s sleep tracking, GPS, and steps measurements were spot on and gave more than enough data to see where I was going wrong.

TechGearLab

A bit of a hassle to use and scores quite poorly overall

from TechGearLab

The Huawei impressed us with its low price point and promising set of features, but that is about it. The heart rate monitor was laughably inaccurate in our tests, the fitness metrics collected varied greatly from our cycling computer, and all in all it falls a bit short.

Android Authority

Budget wearable with amazing battery life and GPS

from Android Authority

The Huawei Band 2 Pro is a very solid fitness wearable at a pretty low price. Unfortunately, that price comes with sacrifices. The clunky navigation method and lack of info on the display are a big downside to this product.

Tom's Guide

A sleeper hit

from Tom's Guide

Huawei's Band 2 Pro isn't perfect. Its display could be brighter, and interchangeable bands would make it more versatile. But this affordable fitness tracker is packed with powerful sensors that deliver surprisingly accurate workout and sleep analysis. It's one of the best bands under $100.
