The Globe and Mail's Report on Business has a story today entitled Sly Manouevering Dominates Canadian Wireless Auction. It looks as though the big three cellular providers in Canada are doing the best they can to continue to stifle competition and maintain their usurious prices. They are likely hoping to cement their ownership of the new spectrum by shortly after the end of the auction in late June. That's why many of the newest price breaks being offered, like the new $30 unlimited data plan just introduced by Bell, expire in August of this year.

What's your thought? Do you think anything will change after the completion of the auction?
