In the course of a year, the Citi Prestige went from a card I was happy to keep for its niche uses like the 4th night free or the better insurance coverage to a card I kept in my wallet all of the time because of the great bonus categories and now I’m seriously considering canceling it when my next...

In the course of a year, the Citi Prestige went from a card I was happy to keep for its niche uses like the 4th night free or the better insurance coverage to a card I kept in my wallet all of the time because of the great bonus categories and now I’m seriously considering canceling it when my next annual fee is due. While Citi has added cell phone coverage to the card, they destroyed the travel insurance coverages and gutted the value of the 4th night benefit by making you redeem it through Citi ThankYou.

Extremely generous travel rewards credit card

from Money Crashers

The Citi Prestige Card isn’t for everyone. Actually, it’s not for most people. And that’s okay. Most people don’t travel often enough, spend enough time in airport lounges, or take advantage of enough exclusive, members-only events to make this card’s hefty annual fee worthwhile.
