The Amex Green Card is a lucrative new product. The $150 annual fee card offers 3x points on dining, travel, and transit, and offers up to $200 in annual credits ($100 with CLEAR and $100 with LoungeBuddy). As someone who pays $100+ per year for a CLEAR membership, that is more or less good as cash...

The Green Card offers mostly travel- and dining-focused benefits, which can be really lucrative for the right spender. But many of these benefits come with quirks, and you’ll be on the hook for a $150 annual fee.

The medium-sized bonus on the Amex Green card isn’t enough to vault this to the top of most lists, but if you’ve already applied for most other Amex cards, this can be a great way to quickly boost your Membership Rewards points balance. Longer term, this card more than pays for its elevated annual f...

Paying what amounts to $50 out of pocket per year for a card with such bonus categories is quite remarkable (and that $50 out of pocket assumes you don’t get value out of the LoungeBuddy statement credits).

The newly revamped American Express Green Card is a big improvement over the old version, now offering 3X points for travel and dining plus annual statement credits for certain travel services. The new annual fee is higher, but the enhanced rewards and benefits could easily make up for it.
