Worked even in SouthAmerica flawlessly. I am not sure if I want to change for another one. Maybe when they invent the new subcutaneous Phone implants... Less

Good Phone

This is a long lasting durabale phone. I had for 2 years and I'm still using it. The only bad thing is that adding a attachable camera is $40 CDA.

I have had this phone for over 3 Years and I'm still happy with this model. It is small and still very handy. Easy to use. I got mine in Calgary, Alberta. I paid C$60.00 with a two year contract with Fido.

When my phone rings its really loud. The only thing I don't like about the volume is that if I try to put my phone on the lowest volume it is still very loud. The phone would be much better if it had a built in camera inside instead of having to buy a seperate one to attach. It would also be nice if the phone was able to play mp3 ringtones instead of polyphonic ones. Less

very durable

I've had this phone for 2 years now and it has never let me down. Reception is great and it's very rugged. I accidentally drop kicked it about 10 ft. ahead of me onto blacktop and all that happened was the battery popped out and the outer shell started to come apart. I snapped it back together and it still worked.

Reliable and solid

I have been using this phone for about 2 years..and i think it serves the purpose.. it was the first colour screen phone that i have had.. and uptill this day i have encounted no problems. The messaging is very easy to use once u get used to it.But most of all its reliability. For its price its well worth the money

This phone has been a real disappointment to me. I don''t understand how most of the reviews have so good about this phone. 1. This phone has horrible reception. Every conversation I have I have to ask the person to repeat themselves due to the bad reception and the volume on the phone. I have it on the highest setting for volume and you can barely hear the person talking to you. 2. The volume of the ringtones is not very strong and if you forget to set your phone on vibrate, you''ll miss all your calls for sure. 3. It''s hard to find places to download compatible ringtones with this phone. 4.Sometimes the phone just shuts off by itself even when it has full battery. 5. 60% of the time my phone calls are disconnected. 6.Oh, did I mention how bad the reception is. Lol...I''ll mention it again. It pisses me off sometimes when I really need to make a phone call and when I try dialing the number it keeps ending my calls saying no service. Oh, and I forgot to mention that this phone is ugly. I ordered it off of Fido''s website a year ago when I signed up for a 2 year contract. I wanted a cheap phone and I got a cheap phone that sucks. Thank god I''m buying a new phone because 1 year with this phone felt like an eternity of problems. Less

Looks sweet...works well

I've owned this phone for a while, thought i'd write about it. I think that considering all the clam phones out there that look the exact same, it's nice to have something a bit different. I think the red lights are useless but really cool. The display is what kills it's design. The colour looks like it's missing a few thousand tones. Also, a major downside, you can't get ringtones (easily). That said, in T.O., i've never missed or dropped a call. WARNING: I've had 2 friends with the same phone who have had the recharger cable break off in the phone. Not me thank goodness, but I think it's a known issue. Also, once Rogers is through with Fido, there'll be nothing left. Less

Fun phone to play with when you know how to use your gadgets. Load it up with Mario, Cannons (Artillery game 2p mode), Load Runner (Gold Miner), Dope wars!, Chessmaster, Snake I,II, Space (Asteroids), and boring 2 default games, Spacious 1.83MB free to load up what ever you want! Currently loaded up with lots of MIDI ringtones, great reception, long lasting battery, although I do have to admit that there is no low battery signal... You can't really tell when your phone is going to die... It'll just tell you that the battery is empty and you will have to recharge soon. Although the phone looks easily breakable, it is a tough tank. Dopped it few times already. Lack of bluetooth and IrDA shouldn't really bother anyone... It's not like you're going to sync your phone everytime... That only happens when you just got your gadget... You'll get tired after some time... Screen resolution is okay... It really is not a good idea to load up 16bit images since it can only handle 4096 Colours.. Asides from that it's a great phone! Less

Good value for money

This is a highly recommended phone. The only con is the absense of IrDA and BT, so if someone wants to connect the phone with the PC, he will use the data cable. Overall, M55 has many features, good design and adequate battery life.
