Samsung Galaxy A70 has a lot of positives including a vivid display, good battery, and impressive design. But the price of Rs 28,990, does phone leaves you wanting more. The cameras have become a crucial factor for potential users while considering a new phone, and Galaxy A70 does not quite satisfy on that front. Plus, we certainly expected a better processor for the price. The Galaxy A70 is a good option for those who like to stay within the safe confines of the Samsung ecosystem and don’t mind paying a premium for it.

The Galaxy A70 offers a great set of specifications and follows a similar path as the Galaxy A50. The A70 isn't as experimental with its design as the Galaxy A80, but there is some comfort in familiarity. But there are two reasons to buy the Galaxy A70 above all else: A large and gorgeous AMOLED display and long-lasting battery. The Galaxy A70 also works as an all-round device because it gets a dependable Snapdragon 675 chipset that should age well, even if it isn't the most competitive chipset in this price segment.

The Galaxy A70 is as premium as flagship and quite powerful for the competition. It can run your daily tasks smoothly, and the processor, RAM combination works well for any kind of gaming. The taller 6.7-inch full HD+ display with tiny notch and squeezed down bottom chin is a treat for video consumption. I found the battery to be impressive than any 5,000mAh battery phone I’ve used so far. But camera needs improvement in software department, and can be easily fixed with an update.

The device easily sails through a day of heavy usage, and 25W fast charging is certainly an added bonus. On the downside, the lack of a dedicated night mode and stabilisation might prove to be major red flags for photography enthusiasts.
