The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G isn’t a full redesign of the Galaxy A51, but more like an incremental update. The subtle differences are aimed at allowing the phone to make use of 5G without sacrificing battery life.
Differences include:
- An aluminum frame
- A slightly different Exynos 980 chipset
- A larger 4500mAh battery
- Support for microSD cards up to 1TB
The changes aren’t much, but it offers a level of futureproofing on this mid-tier devices as 5G availability becomes more widespread.
Everything else about the phone is the same as the previous release. So be sure to check out our Samsung Galaxy A51 review for more details.
