It comes with some of the features that high-end Windows Phone handsets have, along with some hardware that gets included in mid-range Android smartphones.

The smartphone fits perfectly in any pocket and can be easily maneuvered with only one hand. The only real threat for Lumia 620’s popularity is the newer Lumia 520 smartphone, which has recently been launched on the market.

All in all, I think Nokia Lumia 620 is one of the best alternatives for Windows Phone fans who are looking for a budget-friendly device that can offer much more than an entry-level smartphone.

Amongst all phones available for a similar price, Nokia Lumia 620 would be our ideal recommendation. However, this smartphone is not meant for someone who wants to try out every app and game that pops up in the market. Thanks to small mercies like a removeable battery and buttons on one side.

It has great build quality, a great display, an above average camera, really loud speakers, and performs great too, but the software is a weak point if you are looking for lots of apps and games. But if you are looking for a Windows phone 8 device and don’t want to invest a lot, then this might be the most complete device you can get for the price. Retailing for Rs. 14,999/- on the Nokia online store and lesser in other retail stores, the Lumia 620 is the best mid range device that Nokia has ever produced.

Best Windows Phone 8 powered smartphone when it comes to deliver bang for your buck

from NDTV

We've been hoping that the release of the Nokia Lumia 620 would disrupt the mid-budget segment, which is currently dominated by Android phones. The phone surely lives up to our expectations as it offers all major smartphone features at a great price point.

The Nokia Lumia 620 is a competitively-priced entry-level smartphone and deserves a good look. It’s not necessarily the right choice for those signing a multi-year contract, since many better devices are discounted to $0 on three-year terms at the moment, but combined with an inexpensive pre- or post-paid plan, there aren’t many choices better than this. Hitting all the right notes where it counts — performance, battery life, form factor — the Lumia 620 is let down only by the continued paucity of great Windows Phone 8 apps, though the number is certainly growing. Consider the Lumia 620 over the similarly-priced Windows Phone 8S, if only for the Lumia-exclusive app catalogue.

With Windows Phone you have the deeply integrated social networking, the exclusive Nokia apps, Live Tiles and the fresh user interface along with the new benefits of Windows Phone 8, such as the ability to send files over Bluetooth and drag-and-drop files from a PC. Your choice is going to be whether this is all more important to you, than the vast amount of apps Android has, but on slower hardware at this price range. Keep in mind, Windows Phone does have all the essentials, and the app scene is improving, albeit slowly. That all being said, if apps arnt a bother, and you’re on a budget but looking for a fun, vibrant little smartphone that shows off your personality and still affords you the minimum requirements of what a smartphone should provide, chances are you wouldn’t regret buying the Nokia Lumia 620. It really is a fantastic little phone.
