Even though Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been on the market for quite some time now, manufacturers still seem to be stuck making phones with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Case in point: the Motorola RAZR HD which ships with version 4.0.4.
But while the pre-installed software does leave room for improvement, there’s no denying the fact that the Droid RAZR HD manages to wow as far as hardware is concerned. It has a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 8MP camera, 16GB storage, 1GB RAM, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It’s quite impressive when it comes to wireless features as well, with support for LTE, EV-DO, and HSPA+ data. And it doesn’t hurt that it comes in a metallic casing that weighs less than 150 grams and measures only 8mm thick.
With the Droid RAZR HD, Moto went with what was good with the original Droid RAZR and added improvements all around, from the screen to the software to the wireless features. In other words, you get the same solid slab of metal, glass, and plastic to enjoy messing around with the Android operating system.
