Same problem, display goes wonky and upside down, last time it was faded, this time it doesn't display on the outside and upside down on the inside. Telus said it's a known problem, told me to call Motorola. Motorola denied that it is a known problem, told me to call Telus. Telus gave me $200 dollars off with a 3 year contract. Spending the money I 'saved' getting the phone fixed. Less

I am very disappointed with the service provider that sold me this phone and the parent company that supports this phone. I called to report the upside down screen four days after my one year service was up and was told "this is a known problem and only affects the phone costmetically - we will not replace it". I noticed shortly thereafter that my camera no longer works - gee must have something to do with the upside down image. IfI pay $125.00 for a replacement after the $500+ I already paid for the phone upfront, I will only get a refurbished version of what is already known to break. Thanks Motorola and Telus! Great customer service. Less

We run a company that uses push to talk phones and have 5 of these phones. Buyer beware. It seems to us that there is somekind of design flaw with these phones as 4 of the 5 phones' screens flipped upside down after about 6 months. Fist i thought we just got a bad batch, but now the replacement phones are also flipping upside down. I've seen other reviews and it appears that this has happened to alot of people. Motorola put out a unreliable product. We are on our 3rd replacement phones (2 of them) and now one of the screens on those phones has flipped upside down again and it appears to be fading out (currenlty has a white wash look to it). We have had to become pretty good at reading the screen upside down now because we will not be replacing these phones with any more i880s. I'd stay away from this particular model number. Like I said, buyer beware! Don't say I didn't warn you if you do decide to get this phone. Less

Nextel tried to transfer my old phone numbers to this model, only about 1/3 transferred, then trying to use the web address book took me 3 hours with Tier 2 Tech service and no succcess. It is far far too complicated for me. I will return it within 30 days to get a refund/replacement. Less

Pro: Bluetooth, camera, and great form factor Con: Durability, connectivity Using experience: 7 months This phone was great for the first six months and then it was hit by the screen flip many folks are complaining about. At first it was random, then it was frequent, now it's permanent. While it lasted I really liked this phone. It was a good size, comfortable to use and decent features. It's only downside was the difficulty moving the address book via bluetooth - only one contact at a time. Unfortunately, the apparent defect that appears after a few months of normal use forces me to rate this rather poorly. Less
