From the innovative and highly stylized folks at LG comes the new LG Decoy, a vertical slider running on the CDMA network, and doing it very well I might add.
The Decoy comes complete with a an A2DP Bluetooth headset which stows neatly away onboard the phone! *(The A2DP headset allows you to listen to music and receive calls).
With good call quality, an easy user interface and tactile keys, there isn’t much that can be criticized unless you want to discuss the old and boring “fingerprint smudge” problem, a problem you’ll encounter with any show phone. Besides, if you like flash, you will love the fascia of this phone; the entire front absolutely gleams with a mirror-like finish.
The 2.2 inch screen is generous and crystal clear, able to produce 262k colors. That’s a lot given that I can only see about five when walking around town.
The navigation array is spacious, resting just below the display. It includes two soft keys, a clear key and a real joystick right smack in the middle. The joystick is an improvement over others attempts at a multi-directional button.
When you slide the Decoy open it reveals an attractive and familiar alphanumeric keyboard. The Decoy even has a slight edge on the exterior that allows you to slide it open with a single flip of the thumb.
The LG Decoy and another great phone in a line of LG shiny, show phones that back up their looks with intelligent design.
