The LG Lucid 4G is a budget smartphone that supports CDMA networks and 4G LTE. Although it ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the default operating system, it is supposed to get an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the future.
Hardware features include a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a 4-inch 480x800 touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi n, and GPS with A-GPS. A couple hardware bonuses include support for microSD cards up to 32GB and full HD, 1080p video recording.
The Lucid weighs just a hair over 140 grams and comes with an 11mm profile, which makes it quite comfortable to carry around. And it can indeeed be carried around for quite some time thanks to the standard battery which offers up to 8 hours of talk time on a single charge.
This phone sits nowhere near the high-end. Apart from the 4G LTE connectivity, the only other truly notable thing about it might be its affordable purchase price. But that is no doubt an important consideration that definitely makes it worth a look.

- David Pierce, The VergeIts performance is solid, it’s a relatively good-looking device, and its LTE performance is good if not bar-setting.
