In times like these when most of us have both an MP3 player and a phone stashed away in our pockets, we want to consolidate and start considering an all-in-one device. The bottom line is that Sprint's mid-range Fusic provides users the luxuries of a good portable music player as well as a solid mobile phone. In addition to being well stocked with apps, the Fusic serves well for everyday phone use. Its expandable memory, FM transmitter, Bluetooth stereo support, and EV-DO data are a few of the things that propel this phone into the "Recommended" category for me. While there were a few small irritating features at times, my overall experience was a good one. The only major flaw with the Fusic are the poor music d-pad arrow controls on the outside of the device and its lack of Bluetooth stereo support when using Sprint's music player.

Read a few of the reviews posted here and wanted to put my two cents in. I've had this phone since August 2007 and it's still working great! Never had any problems whatsoever. I bought this phone because I needed a Bluetooth enabled phone and in 2007, this was one of the cheapest phones with that capability. The camera is only 1.3 megapixels, but if you want better quality pics, get a real camera. One of the best features of this phone is the music player. I love the fact that it has an FM transmitter which lets me play the songs through my car radio. Battery life is very good and it doesn't take forever to fully recharge. I also dropped it quite a few times and it's still working fine. Oh and it's also great for making phone calls!! Complaints?? The car charger doesn't always connect well and sometimes charging is intermittent, but besides that, a great phone! Less

Durable in my opinion

I've had this phone for 2 and a half years now, and it's gone through quite the beating. I've worked in construction, as an arborist, and in a steel fabrication plant. It's been dropped in muddy puddles, had a tree fall on it, been tossed against concrete and brick walls, it even fell into wet cement....More
I've had this phone for 2 and a half years now, and it's gone through quite the beating. I've worked in construction, as an arborist, and in a steel fabrication plant. It's been dropped in muddy puddles, had a tree fall on it, been tossed against concrete and brick walls, it even fell into wet cement. It hasn't slowed down at all, it's had no technical issues, and every feature is working as well as the day I bought it. It doesn't have tons of features that new phones have, but for a fairly basic phone with mp3 player, I find it quite amazing. Less

Awesome Phone

The LG Fusic is simply a great phone. I've had this phone for over two years now, and no problems at all. Battery life is great! I've also dropped this phone many many times, and have never had an issue. This phone is *great*!

Not Very Good

It is a nice looking phone, a little think for my liking, it had to be repaired 3 times in the year that i had it, at one point for no reason half the keyboard stopped working. All n all not very durable

Pretty Good Phone

I have had this phone for over a year how and its holding up greatly. I've droped it millions of times and there had been no major damage. But as time goes time it starting to freez and when i recieve a text the phone usually freezes. But that is the only problem I've had with this phone.

UGH

I haven't even had this phone for a year and I hate it. I have never dropped it, it has only been through the normal wear and tear any phone goes through. The ringers all together stopped working, when I finally got them going they didn't stop even after I answered the phone or text. I can't use my mem...More

The ringers all together stopped working, when I finally got them going they didn't stop even after I answered the phone or text. I can't use my memory card, it just get's really hot and freezes my phone when I try.The USB cord for it stopped working about a month after I got it. I am also supposed to be able to send and recieve picture messages but I can't access them. I have read the manual to help, even googled it and nothing works. This phone is crap. Less

Although the camera doesn't have that many functions it's still pretty decent. I dropped more than 15 times on cement and it was fine, but with a few scratches. It doesnt't have the loudest speaker but it's just right, not too loud, not too quiet. Less
