Before my phone came into my possession it was my Grandmother's for a year. I have had this phone for two years now and it is still working well. I have dropped the poor thing many times, but nothing has damaged it. Most of my friends have been through multiple phones since I have had my phone because quite frankly phones now a days are made to break down in about a year so you have to buy a new one. Sure my phone isn't the highest tech thing on the market, but I am a student and I only pay 15$ a month for my pay as you go plan, so I am happy. Less

i've had this phone for almost 2 years, and it was one of the best phones i've had. i've dropped this phone lots and it has very little wear. most of the wear is on the front glossy part, but even that is pretty minimal considering how many times its fallen on hard surfaces. inside screen stays perfect because it is protected by the phone. my daughter once dripped a Popsicle on it and tried washing it before i found out. it was completely soaked, i took off the back and battery and laid them all out to dry for 5 days and when i put it back together it still worked. i was really impressed. pros: can set 3 alarms good battery life, lasts me about 4 days between charges and takes only 4 hours to fully charge, even after having the phone for 2 years. clear sound for phone calls, clear sounding speakerphone. very user friendly. can recieve picture and sound messages. cons: only stores about 105 text messages, so if you text a lot you'll be deleting a lot too. does not receive video messages. can take pictures but not video. when sending picture messages or messages with lots of text, it can sometimes take up to 5 minutes to send (5 was the longest i've waited, usually averages around 2 minutes, sometimes it works really fast, its unpredictable) Less
I've had this phone for over a year now,And it's a good phone and all but it has some technical difficulties. As in.. 1. Sometimes it freezes when I'm trying to txt or write in the NotePad, 2. I've had this phone for over a year now,And it's a good phone and all but it has some technical difficulties. As in.. 1. Sometimes it freezes when I'm trying to txt or write in the NotePad, 2. The screen goes all white when I didn't even touch it,3. When I set my alarm for me to wake up to go to skool , My phone goes off whenever it want's..It doesn't go on the right time! 4 .When I send a text message longer then 141 when I send it , It freezes and takes like 10 minutes just to send it.. So I have to constantly open the back of my phone and take the battery out to restart it! All over again! ... The Good Thing about the phone is that it has a awesome long life battery .. I can charge it once and it could last about 3 days.It has great sound quality.. loud and clear! It's buttons are nice and easy to push. The light of the phone is excellent! Perfect to see even if it's pitch black. The writing is a perfect size to text, Mind you the outer box that you text in is green so it helps you see what you're texting better. And Overall this phone is an OK phone. This was my first phone as well.I will be getting a new one on december 26th. This phone is good if your going to use it simple. It gets some scratches on it,But barely visible, The pictures look better then what it is, "1.3" So I guess this phone is an OK phone, But soon when you start using it alot beware of the problems that may accure. - Kitten Less

Awesome phone

I've had this phone for over a year and i must say its one of the best. If you can still find one, buy it. I got mine for 40$ (sale down from 50$) and it came with a $50 credit, so i was basically paid 10$ for phone. Its very responsive in terms of menu access. Sending or deleting messages is sometimes a pain because a confirmation graphic shows after every action. Its incredible durable (went through the washing machine, fell in a toilet) and the battery life beats any other phone. Buy this phone if you have the chance its the best! Less

Not a bad little phone

I've had this phone for over a year now and it still works pretty well. I got it for free when i signed up with Telus through Walmart. Considering how cheap you can get it now I would highly recommend this for first time cell buyers or someone who will use it minimally. I haven't had any major problems with my phone, only two small ones where it freezes up on long text messages and it chips easily(I chipped it within two days from a fairly low drop.) The pictures aren't the greatest but that's what a camera is for :).I find the length of time the battery lasts is amazing, probably six hours of talk time or more for me. Overall I think it is one of the best basic level cell phones around right now. Less

Good Phone for price

I recently got this phone and it is good the menu unfortunately is a little screwy but it has a good camera and it was a smoking deal I paid about 55 bucks for it and got a 50 dollar activation credit so the phone cost a little under 5 bucks the volume is good but it takes forever to find things with the menu's and voice comand is deaf

Buy another phone than this if you spend $100

This is my 'replacement' phone for my Razr that I smashed when I was drunk one night. If you ever lose or damage an expensive piece of gear, you can always downgrade and buy a phone that's pay-as-you-go and have it activated for your subscription plan. This is my 'replacement' phone for my Razr that I smashed when I was drunk one night. If you ever lose or damage an expensive piece of gear, you can always downgrade and buy a phone that's pay-as-you-go and have it activated for your subscription plan. Don't buy this as a camera phone. It takes fuzzy, distorted pictures, no zoom, and barely holds 40 of them. Good battery life - 3-4 days for me at a time. Does NOT have a 'vibrate & ring loud' message alert or call setting. I miss a lot of calls in busy places because the vibrating effect of an in-coming call is that not that noticeable. Phone does NOT work in Europe, as I found out, despite 2 Telus CSRs assuring me it did. There are now better phones out there for $100 than this one. Less
