The P30 Pro genuinely marks a massive leap forward for smartphone cameras with game changing low-light performance and a remarkable new zoom technology. Both make meaningful, useful additions to your photographic arsenal, giving the P30 Pro the best camera available. It’s flexible, powerful and above all, super-fun to use. Which surely is the point. The rest of the phone is excellent, too, if not that dissimilar to the older Mate 20 Pro. Battery life remains competition-beating. It’s snappy, bright and beautiful, and even Huawei’s EMUI software is improving.

One of the best smartphone cameras

Calling this one of the best smartphone cameras available isn’t an understatement. If you had the P30 Pro in your hands, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not learning the camera’s gamut of features and modes. It won’t replace a DSLR, in my opinion, but it’s more than capable of taking outstanding photos right out of your pocket.

Huawei is the most exciting phone manufacturer today. It's been consistently putting out great phones with innovative features and incredible cameras for the past few years now and the P30 is the culmination of those efforts. The quad camera alone is reason enough to buy this phone, but it also has the longest battery life around with the fastest charging battery, a beautiful curved glass design and a huge display with a tiny notch, plus two gorgeous and unique gradient color options (and also Black).

Excellent cameras, epic battery life

The P30 Pro is the best smartphone Huawei has ever made. From its cameras, battery and performance, the P30 Pro gets a lot of things right. The phone is certainly not cheap, but the price is justified for someone who is damn serious about mobile photography.

A quick glance at the checklist, and the Huawei P30 Pro really holds no prisoners with the design, the performance, excellent battery life, lots of AI and well, the cameras that are setting a new benchmark in smartphone photography. It is not without faults though, such as a basic face unlock mechanism, a proprietary memory card slot and the dated EMUI user interface exhibiting some rough edges, but nothing deal breaking.
