Shaking the mid-range with style and capabilities

from LaptopMedia

Huawei’s P lineup has a yet another mid-range representative in the face of P10 Lite. This time, however, in addition to the capabilities, the company has paid attention to the elegant appearance achieved with the help of the glass back and pleasantly curved edges. This, of course, hasn’t prevented the fingerprint sensor from being available again. The display is 5.2″ with Full HD resolution, which is not a change compared to P9 Lite, but in the menu we find a special Eye comfort mode limiting blue light. Additionally, the battery offers reasonable durability, although in some of our tests the results were lower than those of P9 Lite. On the other hand, its charging is fast and for 10 minutes in the plug, you can get around 2 hours of video playback.

Stripped back and refined at the same time

from Recombu

If it isn’t already apparent the Huawei P10 Lite is clearly more of a refinement upon the P9 Lite, than a stripped down version of the company’s P10 flagship, which is a bit of a shame. It lacks the standout features of Huawei’s current top dog and as such, feels like just another premium mid-ranger. That said, a dated design doesn’t detract from its capabilities. The P10 Lite is well built, offers a great user experience and performs well. Its camera is reliable but needs work in some key areas to be truly great and the £299 price tag places it within firing range of the excellent Moto G5 Plus; a bigger, bulkier phone for sure, but one that can take on and even surpass the P10 Lite in some areas, for less.

Not quite as Leicable, but still good

from Recombu

Don’t pick up the P10 Lite expecting the same top-tier camera experience as its flagship brethren but at the same time, don’t let the branding fool you. Whilst this handset might be light on cameras, it’s certainly got ability where it counts. It takes great photos in almost any condition, offers up a whole host of options to iron out troublesome shooting conditions and has some really fun extras to top it all off too.

Enough to get your attention and keep it

The Huawei P10 Lite may be quite a few features short of the flagship P10, but that's actually fine. We expected lower specs and we got them but the internals are not bottom-of-the-barrel either. Good looks and quality build, a high-res screen, solid performance, a very capable camera, and some nice software perks, the Huawei P10 Lite has enough to offer the right users - and well within budget too. We just wish the resemblance to the P10 stretched further than the name.

Surprisingly nimble performance, good Battery life

from PhoneArena

The Huawei P10 Lite is one intriguing mid-range contender. For about €350 (also going for $330 on Amazon), you get a slim phone with a great design, adequate performance, good battery, decent cameras, and the latest software.

Android Authority

A good mid-range option for those on a budget

from Android Authority

The Huawei P10 lite certainly ticks a lot of the right boxes for a mid-range device. It’s thin, has a good sized battery, and offers reasonable performance, all on a budget. Also the ability to enable an app drawer should help EMUI find greater acceptance. The software offers some good extra features and having 4 GB of RAM is nice. While it doesn’t have a dual camera setup, the included camera is certainly usable especially in good lighting.

Notebookcheck

Offers the most affordable entry into the P10 product series

from Notebookcheck

Huawei did not promise too much: The P10 Lite is a real alternative to the expensive, almost 600-Euro (~$636), P10. As with its high-end relative, the mid-range convinces with an excellent build, which makes it look significantly more expensive than one would imagine considering its current street price of around 350 Euros (~$371) at the time of testing. Though the P10 Lite does not have the Leica camera of the Huawei P10, a 12-Megapixel camera that scores with a surprisingly high image quality proves to be a worthy alternative.
