A fantastic camera for photography enthusiasts, thrill seekers and social media creators

The Insta360 GO is not a substitute for a 360 camera but it isn’t advertised as such. It is, however, a great compliment to your camera bag it just doesn’t feel as indestructible as a GoPro for example and the exposed fisheye lens is sufficiently scary at times. The recording capacity is limited however if you use it as intended — as a camera for capturing candid POV shots, it works really really well and the image quality is great as well.

Everyday life becomes a (boring) movie

from Digital Trends

I think this is a fun product. It’s small. It’s simple. It’s silly, but in a good way. I also can’t imagine myself using it. At least 360-degree cameras have a wow factor that almost makes them worth it. The Go lives at the center of the Venn diagram where phones and action cameras overla...More

At least 360-degree cameras have a wow factor that almost makes them worth it. The Go lives at the center of the Venn diagram where phones and action cameras overlap, but almost all of the time, one of those other devices is going to be the better choice.

The Insta360 Go is an action camera for the influencer generation. It’s incredibly light, dead easy to use and makes juddery motion look smooth. In use there are obvious reasons to buy one of Insta360’s bigger cameras, or a GoPro, though. The small sensor’s limitations become obvious when the lighting is not perfect and we – no surprise here – would not recommend this for indie film-makers or extreme sports folks who want to record a whole bike ride.

Digital Camera World

Excellent build quality and simple operation

from Digital Camera World

A curious product that taps into the hunger for first-person video and correctly sets human attention spans to between 15 and 30 seconds, the Insta360 GO is an intriguing and easy-to-use action camera with just enough advanced features.

The Next Web

Packs a lot of features in a tiny, wearable package

from The Next Web

So far, results have been mixed. I’m not a big fan of the 30-second limit on standard videos, but perhaps further testing will make it seem less arbitrary. To its benefit, the GO handles broad daylight well and the included accessories make it intuitive to get just about any shot you can think of.
