Hi Andy, if you're talking about the recently used programs sidebar, then I'm afraid there's no way of getting rid of that because that's a standard Windows 8 feature. It only ever comes up when you swipe out from the left, though. So as long as you avoid doing that, you won't encounter it. Is there something that causes it to keep popping up somehow while you're in the middle of doing something?
