Why is my BLU Dash L2 restarting itself?

A day or two ago, my BLU Dash L2 began restarting itself several times a day. Each time it comes back on, the time displayed is an hour later than the actual time. I have to reboot the phone again to fix this error. Then, when I tried to contact someone, the phone froze up for a while and would not unlock. Why is this happening, and how can it be fixed? Could it be part of the wireless update I recently downloaded?

That's possible that the recent update is causing this. Try to correct the time, date, and timezone and observe if that helps. Was the update an official update from the manufacturer?
