my phone doesn't turn on I have bought a new battery and it worked for a day then turned off and isn't coming back on

Eric, does the flash light up for a second or so every single time you put in the battery? It's probably just a way to indicate that the battery holds a charge and that the phone is still working -- think hardware diagnostics. If it isn't causing any trouble, you can just ignore it.
