When a MTS customer wants to upgrade their phone and contract, they need to call in to the Early Upgrades Department at 225-5687. There are many factors that will impact the cost of an upgrade. The basic business rules are that a contract is eligible to be upgraded within the final 6 months, anything over this would be charged at $30 per month to a maximum of $400. There may be credits available to customers who are looking at upgrading early but that would be determined on an individual basis by the upgrades department.
