How can you use MP3 as a ringtone on a Sony Ericsson w810i from Rogers?

I just got the sony ericson w810i and i cany use any of my mp3 files as ringtones.
Upon further investigation, I found out that Rogers software blocks you from using your own mp3 tracks as ringtones.
Does anyone know how to get around this?
Do I need to get software that clips & converts a full mp3 to a 20 second clip for it to work?

I know FIdo does, and it was on a Nokia. I had to convert my mp3s to wma to get them working as ringtones.

do you mean, bell and telus completely block people from using their own MP3 ringtones?

its not rogers that blocks this its actually sony erricson all rogers phones are able to use mp3 as ringtones but sony did come out with the software mentioned above to rectify this ..... now telus and bell completly block this on all phones

its possible to use your own mp3s as ringtones, you just have to use the
DRM packager (http://developer.sonyericsson.com/site/global/docstools/misc/p_misc.jsp) found at sonyericsson's site. Just use default settings and apply the DRM on your mp3s you want to use as ringtones.
