For example, I have one type of fitness tracker (for which I use H Band) and my wife has another. I would like to use VeryFitPro to connect to her tracker but I cannot install it without uninstalling another app. That leads me to the second problem which is likely not appropriate for this forum. VeryFitPro can't see her tracker even though the phone's bluetooth can. I am currently trying Runmifit but no success yet. My primary concern, however, is the out-of-space problem. And if there is a way to upgrade Android 6 to a newer release I'd appreciate a link to how to do that as well. I'm finding useful documentation on how to do things sorely lacking.

I've already gone through every app on my phone. Only a few have the "move to SD" option and I moved them. That still leaves my internal (non-SD) usage at close to 8 GB. I think this is just a limitation of Android 6 and/or the phone. There is no option to upgrade the OS so I guess I'm stuck with it. At least it does what I need most (make/receive calls).

Try freeing up phone storage first, install the app you want, move it to SD card, then reinstall the app you removed initially.

I do, and it is already set as the default.

Hi Reverend Jim. I'm pretty sure your phone doesn't have an update to the most recent Android version like most Android phones. As for the storage, I remember having a similar issue on an older phone. On Settings -> Storage, do you see an option to set SD card as default storage?
